Province Apothecary Eczema Balm

PROVINCE APOTHECARY ECZEMA BALM

  • I had really high hopes for this product. I've struggled with eczema since I was a child and have had flare-ups on various parts of my body and face throughout my entire life. I have been able to manage it effectively by making changes to my diet and environment and by avoiding certain products. For the most part, I live eczema-free. However, I still have the occasional flare-up from time to time. I was hoping this product would be part of the solution.

The product is sold as an "eczema balm" and the founder created it as a natural solution to her ezcema flare-ups. Unfortunately, that was not the case for me. This product did not do much for my ezcema. However, since the product does contain some pretty stellar ingredients, I simply just used it as a moisturizer. This balm is thick but once warmed, it applies thin and absorbs into the skin very well. It's not greasy at all, which makes it perfect to use as a hand moisturizer. This product does apply with a white cast due to the zinc oxide, which on a positive note will provide some sun protection!
